A new floral design inspired by spring woodland flowers

I’ve enjoyed spending some time sketching, carving + creating a new repeat pattern using some new pink block I treated myself to from Handprinted. This time of year brings lots of floral inspiration with the help of all the new spring shoots + flowers popping up in the garden + woods.

Dobbie + I have our daily routine of walking the woods + it’s a wonderful feeling to spy new spring flowers emerging through the brown leaves.

Spotting Wood Anemones, Celandines, Violets + Primroses has inspired this new block print of mine called Woodland Flowers. It’s tricky to fit + feature them all on one piece of block! I’m thinking of doing a series of them as new wild plants emerge through the coming months.

I’ve scaled the design it to fit both tea light covers/lanterns + notelet cards, with three cheerful colour ways to choose from.

The tea light covers/lanterns come with a glass tea light holder + a complimentary scented candle made by The Botanical Candle Company. The covers + card bundles are available in three colour ways - Fennel, Pale Jade + Misty Blue. The notelet bundles come in a set of three cards, made with recycled ivory card stock + recycled ivory envelopes.
